Bruss Construction, Inc. of Bradford has been selected to be the Construction Manager for the Town of Bethlehem Municipal Building renovations and additions. This project will consist of additions for the Police Department, Fire Department, ADA & Life Safety Code Updates as well as work to improve parking, building access and deferred maintenance items. A construction start of April 2004 is planned.
November 2003Bruss Construction Awarded Fourth Lake Sunapee Bank Branch
Bruss Construction, Inc. of Bradford has been awarded the contract for the Lake Sunapee Bank, Peterborough Branch. The project consists of approximately 2600 square feet of new construction, including construction to accommodate an ATM and drive thru.
This is the fourth branch that Bruss has done for Lake Sunapee Bank. Bruss Construction’s commitment to quality workmanship and on-time projects has made the Bank a repeat customer.
Bruss Construction, Inc has received two awards presented by the Associated Builders and Contractors NH/VT Chapter.
In the Commercial under $2 Million category, Bruss Construction took honors for their construction project for Cricenti's Market in New London, NH. Bruss was also awarded the "Merit" Award in the Metal Buildings category for the Proctor Academy Ted Maloney Ice Arena in Andover, NH.

Bruss Construction, Inc. has completed the $595,000 D W Sherburne Gym renovation project in Sunapee, NH. This project consisted of extensive renovations to locker rooms, coaches' bathrooms and offices along with new showers, and a fitness center. An addition to the lobby area with a concession booth, new roof, mechanical, electrical and fire alarm systems was also completed. This is the second time Bruss Construction has been called on by the Sunapee School District to perform a construction management project.
August 2003Bruss Construction, Inc. has recently completed the $1.4 million makeover and expansion project at the non-profit Harris Center for Conservation Education.
True to the Harris Center's mission, Bruss Construction teamed with Coldham Architects to construct an affordable, environmentally friendly building that incorporated as many "green" and sustainable design benefits as possible. June 2003Bruss Construction Inc. is pleased to announce the completion of Lake Sunapee Bank's new Andover, NH branch. The project was a complete renovation of the old post office building in Andover that doubled the bank's square footage and added a new drive through window. This is the second branch Bruss has constructed for Lake Sunapee. The Project Architect was David McIntire, AIA of the Architectural Studio and the Project Manager was Al Cyr who has been with Bruss for over 7 years.
April 2003Bruss Construction, Inc. has been chosen as Construction Manager for a renovations and additions to the Sherburne Gymnasium in Sunapee, New Hampshire.
The project will feature modernization of mechanical systems, complete renovation of locker rooms, bathrooms, and coaches' area. Additionally, the project will include expansion of the lobby area, to better accommodate the gymnasium users.
This is the second time Bruss has been called upon by the Sunapee School District for renovations of this type. The project is being designed by the Architectural Studio. Construction is expected to commence in early June with completion anticipated for the new school year.
Washington, DC -- U.S. Green Building Council has announced that the French Wing at The Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forest's Conservation Center has earned National honors for its design and construction. The "green building", completed in 2001 by Bruss Construction Inc. of Bradford, NH, has been awarded Gold certification under the rigorous standards of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program (LEED). Initially, the building was designed to meet the specifications for Silver level certification, however, based on the outstanding coordination and efforts of the Architect, Contractor and Owner the facility received Gold level recognition. The French Wing is the first project in New England to earn this certification.
In addition to the national recognition, the French Wing has been awarded the prestigious "Northeast Green Building Award" from the Northeast Sustainable Energy Building Council. The French Wing tied in the "Places of Work" category with the Philip Merrill Environmental Center, Chesapeake Bay Foundation in Bay Ridge, Maryland. The criteria for this award included architectural form which: integrates energy-efficiency, renewable energy systems, sensitivity to natural surroundings, the health of the building for occupants, along with the environmental impact of materials, construction, and operation.

Bruss Construction is pleased to announce that Tim Morrison has completed the Project Superintendent Certification Program through the Associated Builders and Contractors of America.
This certificate program was developed by construction industry professionals to prepare and provide construction supervisory level people with the knowledge required to perform their duties at higher levels. Consisting of eight courses involving 160 classroom hours, the graduates of the certification program are trained in Project Planning, Scheduling, Safety, Leadership and Communications in addition to other building industry related disciplines.

Bruss Construction is pleased to announce the completion of renovations and additions to First Pioneer Farm Credit Union in Bedford, NH. The project consisted of a complete gutting of the exisiting structure including its roof as well as a new 2000 square foot addition. Architectural Studios of Enfield, NH designed the project for BCI. The on-site project Superintendent for BCI was Warren Veysey.
